Home is...

Home is not just where you live, it is where you have adventures, and fun times with family. When I think of home I think of me and my family in our living room laughing about the stories we tell each other. Telling each other funny adventures and showing how we add a funny twist to it. Home is where great stories come, tales are told, the ones that aren’t the best story’s, but are the most truthful ones. On a rainy day, me and my family sip mugs of steaming hot cocoa, topped with whipped cream, marshmallows, and lots of sprinkles. On days where me and my brother make fun movie trailers that we play on repeat, it makes us laugh and laugh. Home is me, and my brother casting each other diving catches with the football, and trying to get it in slow motion on our ipad. Home is where the bad times always go away, and the good times come and stay awhile. Home is where me and my dad are teasing each other and playing funny games and drawing funny things. I am safe, happy, loved, and accepted for who I am here at home. When I am at home I feel the joy and laughter that fills my world and makes it a better place to be in. At home I can be goofy, kind, or whatever I am feeling. Home is a place to not hold back on your greatest adventures, but to go forth and accomplish all of the things that you want to do, whatever it may be. Home to me, is a place where anything is possible, as long as you can dream it, and believe in yourself. That to me, is the true meaning of home, to never give up.
