What Home Means To Me

Home is the place where I belong. Home is where I feel comfortable and safe. Sometimes you can feel unsafe and feel like you don't belong. Home is my happy place where I get to see my parents, my brother and my cute adorable cats. I love my family so much, especially my brother even though me and my brother fight. Home to me is where I feel loved. I feel loved when my parents tell me I did a good job on something like a gingerbread house or ringette. Home is the best place in the world, because it’s amazing to be able to go home and see your family. Home is where me and my brother have fights and arguments about random stuff. I can just relax. Home is where I snuggle with my cats and he scratches me for no reason at all. For a minute I hate him and then he stands there with his cute adorable eyes and I forgive him. Home is where I don't have to worry about school or have to think about math or writing. Home is so comfortable and cozy. I never want to leave it but I have to. Home is where I smell a fresh lit candle crackling under my nose, in winter or fall. Home to me is where I feel loved and safe to not be afraid to be who I am. Home is where I’m comfortable to be myself. Home is where I can tell my mom stuff that I can trust her with. I trust her because she is my best friend at home. I can trust my Mom with anything. Home is where family and I have family movie night Fridays This is what home means to me.
