A Home Isn’t Just A Building

A home isn’t just a building that is made of wood and concrete. Home is an activity that builds lasting memories. A home is a place where you should be happy, comfortable and safe having fun with your family. A home is where you make memories. It’s where you hear your mom asking if your frog can jump. It’s where you play endless games of chess trying to beat your older brother or Dad. It’s the cries you hear when your car falls off of rainbow road in Mario Kart. In a home you should be able to be however you want to be even if others say NO! In a home you should have respect but not just to yourself, you respect your peers and your family. You should be welcomed and feel loved. Your family should care for you with all their heart. In a home you can feel emotions. But a home doesn't just have to be where you sleep every night it can also be a place where you go a lot like a cabin or a cousin's house . One of my homes is my grandparents house because I go there every week My family creates new tastes when we cook dinner.Cooking dinner together as a family is wonderful.My home is where I smell chilli cooking in the crock . In my home I hear the sound of boiling water or the sizzling sound of onions. In my home I see my mom cooking on the stove . In my home I taste fresh fruits and vegetables.My home is where I feel the heat coming from the onions on the stove.
