WHAT HOME MEANS TO ME

A house is a building, but a home is a place with love and laughter you can hear from hundreds of miles away. The joy and the happiness of our voices spread throughout the room. It’s not just a place, it’s a place where I belong where you belong too. When I mean I belong I mean. Where there’s happiness, joy, and laughter, where I can be myself. I spend time with my family and friends, playing games, watching movies, and being together. Family framed pictures hanging from the walls. The smile on their faces makes me want to smile too. Sometimes I take my home for granted but I shouldn’t because we share memories. Home is not replaceable so really, I should not be taken for granted. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for finding us homes, it really means a lot to us.
