What does home mean to me

A house and a home are different things. A house is a building. A home is family, comfort, and a place where you belong. To me a home is a safe place. I like my home it has all my good memories. Memories like playing games, having fun, baking, and enjoying my dogs My mom and I bake and cook together. We like to cook steak, homemade French fries, and sweet potato. These smells remind me of home. Recently my home became only my mother, I, my siblings. This changed my feeling of home. I now get to make more memories with my mom. I do miss how my dad took me to his work. I have learned that home is wherever the memories and smells make you feel happy.
