What is Home

A home is not just a house because although a house gives you shelter and somewhere you can stay warm, it is not always your home. A home is somewhere you feel safe, loved, cared for and comfortable. Home is where you can be yourself without being judged because the people in your home love you and would never pull you down. In your home, you always know your safe and someone you love is there. It could be grandparents, parents, siblings or pets. A house is made of a roof, floor and furniture but a home is made of memories, love, comfort and family. Home is the most important place to me and Habitat for Humanity makes that true for other people too. So, thank you Habitat for Humanity for all you do for the people without homes.
