Why HOME Is Special To Me. If you ask people what home means to them they would probably just say it’s bricks with a roof and a key that can unlock the door.But if you ask me what home is I would say it’s somewhere where you feel welcomed and be able to be yourself.For example when im home I can stay in my grunchy pajamas and take snacks from time to time and sometimes leave the pantry open with nothing in it. For people home is nothing special but it's not the outside of the home that makes it special, it's the inside. It's when you have those family dinners and talk about how good your day was. It's also about the movies we have with the popcorn that somehow disappears in two seconds and how we can snuggle under the blankets. Home is where I can get away from all that drama at school and all those fights that happened.Home is really something that protects us from that like a shelter that keeps us safe from anything that happens outside of our HOME. Some people don't have a home, they live in shelters. That doesn't mean it's not a home on the inside.A shelter can also be a home. It's about the laughter and love people share with each other and the dinners where they talk about the stuff that is bothering them or the stuff that made your day more exciting then it already is. All you need to make a home is love and happiness with people that make you comfortable. I love when I'm home because I can stay in my grunchy pajamas and somehow the pantry door is still open. Might have seen that one coming.Ha Ha!!!
