My happy place

My happy place is home, a place where laughter, comfort and memories take place. When I enter my house after school, the scent of jasmine tells me I am home. The delicious food on the stove makes me feel hungry and excited. I run to my squishmallow, both of my teddies and my two toy bunnies. I hug them so tight that all my worries are gone. When I look at the pictures on the TV stand of my family and me, I feel happy recalling all the happy and memorable moments. The tapping sound from the Bhodha showcase piece from Tirupati reminds me of when we went to India and bought it. When my family and I went to India for the first time after three years, I smelled the jasmine plant on our front porch. I felt like I was home. Home is full of memories and joy. To me, home is not just a house or an apartment, it is where there is family, friends, comfort and joy. It is my happiest place. The letter “ h” in the word home is for happiness. I feel happy when I am home, my family and I make more and more memories every day. The letter “ o” in the word home is outstanding. Home is outstanding, there is family, joy, comfort and memories. The letter “ m” is memorable. A home is memorable as we create many many memories every day. The letter “ e” is effort. Our families put in a lot of effort to earn money to buy a house where we can create a lot of memories, be safe and to make it our home.
