Home
Home means my happy place where I’m safe. The first thing that reminds me of home is the backyard. It is large size, fruit trees, and the river that has a caiman that I saw when I was little. The front yard is special because I would bike and play with my tractor that I would drive. We also had an old landrover where we sit and play in. This was my home in Trinidad.
My second home was in Canada at my aunt and uncle’s home. I got to experience an extended family. My aunt made macaroni pie which became my favourite meal. It was a really fun experience.
Then we moved to an apartment. It was small, but really nice. Time to time we would visit my aunt in Grimsby and in Ticumsette.
Then we moved to a townhouse. It was a two storey end unit. We had a small backyard. I would scooter, bike and play with my cars. I would also build with Lego. My room was really nice and I had a TV in my room. We had a bunny that would come in the backyard. We would sometimes feed him.
We moved again to a three storey middle unit. My room is the warmest in the house. In the front yard I would bike and scooter more often. I really enjoy the couch and my room. This home is a really comfortable place.
