Home is a place you know

Home is a place that I know. I hear the calming silence in my home, which makes me feel alive. The calming music that my parents play for me makes me feel safe. I smell the beautiful fragrance of my warm home. I inhale the fresh air when I enter my house. I embrace my dad's best dish, which smells like paradise. One thing that I love to see that makes anything home for me is my family. One thing that I know makes me feel at home is the hot ramen that my mom makes. The Nigerian traditional dishes on the dinner table are so flavorful and sumptuous that they make me remember home. A warming taste that makes me feel at home is the tea I drink before bed. I feel at home when I embrace the strong fragrance of the tea. A feeling of being at home is like a precious gem that is warm and cared for. I think everyone should have a home and feel cared for. I feel excited when I hear the word home because that is where I feel that I can be me, not judged, not being asked questions that I don't like, and not being surrounded by other people who make me feel uncomfortable. Home makes me feel overjoyed. I enter a realm of my own at home. A measure of calmness envelops my body at my warm and cozy home. Home is my comfort zone. We should all be grateful for where we live , whether it is an apartment or a house, or a building. We should be grateful because, believe it or not, some people would die for any of those because they have nothing to call home.
