Home is Everything

If home were ever a sight… It would be the beautiful, bright, pastel, orange sunset you’ve never seen. If home were ever a sound… It’s the laughter, of my family chatter at the dinner table. If home were ever a smell… It would be the smell of soup and rice made every night in loops. If home were ever a touch and taste… It would be a snowy day. My family would be in the sun room, all cozy, with blankets, in front of us, drinking hot chocolate, and enjoying the view. Home is really everything. We have our family, food, shelter, water and toys. Some people don’t have food or shelter, so that’s why everyone should be grateful for what they have.
