What home means to me

Home isn’t just four walls and a roof, home is the place where you spend time with the ones you love most. You know when you are having dinner, lunch, and breakfast? That food that you are eating? Every bite that you take of that food you should always be thankful for the work that your parents put in to get the money to feed you, give you toys, and a place for you to live. A lot of people don’t get that food, they don’t make that money. So that's why you should respect your parents. You respect everything they do for you. So I want you to say this to your parents when you get home, “I love you mom and dad, and I’m so thankful for everything you do, and I’m so grateful for my home and the people who live in it”. So when you are eating your dinner, wash your plate, put it in the dishwasher, clean your room, put your clothes away, and listen to your parents, and you will have a closer bond with your parents, and you will be loved everywhere you go. So now you know home isn’t just four walls and a roof. It’s the place where people show you respect and kindness and make you feel loved.
