What Home Means

Home is a place where I belong, Home is a place where I can sing a song, Home is a place where I can be, Home is a place where it is not just me. Home is a place where I feel safe, Home is a place where I can have grace, Home is a place where I can have fun, Home is a place where I can be with my dad and mom. Home is a place where I can play, Home is a place where I don’t have to pay, Home is a place where I can pray, Home is a place where I can hand out the tray. Home is a place for me to stay and welcome all the crazy days, Home is a place for me to stay if I don’t want to have a crazy day. Home is a place where you will grow up. That's why you should treasure the small things in life because one day you will realize that those things were the big things. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That’s why I am happy that my class is participating in the Meaning of Home writing contest because I think that everybody deserves a home.
