What Home Means to Me.

Home is not just a place you live in; home is a place where you can experience new things and make memories with your loved ones. At home, I feel cared for and welcome. Home is where I can be myself around the people I love. Home is coming back from school to be greeted by my dog barking for cuddles. Home is a hand guiding me through my life and an umbrella keeping me dry when the rain is pouring down hard. I feel understood when I'm around my loved ones. Home feels like a cozy blanket holding on to me tight when I'm cold. During the holidays, I have the joy of giving gifts and seeing family. Home is where I can have a family movie night and smell fresh popcorn from the microwave. Being at home makes me feel lucky to have a sweet family. At home, I can try new hobbies. Home feels like a star lighting up my life. I am so lucky to have a family and a home to keep me safe.
