A HOME, NOT A HOUSE

When I was little, I did not know what home was. I thought it was just a building. As I got older, I started to learn- a home is a place where you feel most safe. Where your loved ones are near, and you can sleep without fear. Where you have food that tastes good to eat, and after diner you can have a treat! Where your loved ones are near, and you can sleep without fear. Where you can sit near the fire and tell your family about your day and make them say “no way”! When you go to bed and there’s a pillow under your head. Where me and my sister can play and tell stories all day. -that’s what home means to me!
