I love my home because…

I love my home because… I have a warm and fuzzy blanket that I can cover myself to feel warm and cozy when I sleep, a soft and cool pillow that I can rest my head on when I sleep, and a plush bed that I can lay on when I sleep. I have loving and kind parents that always look out for me and take care of me, and I love them as they love me. I have books to read, and toys to play with, and lots of things I can enjoy and pass my free time with. I thank God every day and night for this really wonderful and beautiful home God gave me! Did you know that in some parts of the world, some people don’t have a home? Sometimes, people don’t have the money to afford a house, which is really sad. But don’t worry! If you look closely, there are homes EVERYWHERE! The trees, where birds live, the ground, where insects and bugs live, holes in the ground, where bunnies live, the ocean, where sea creatures like fishes, whales, sharks, and more! Almost everyone has a home, and they really love it as much as we do. But sometimes, people forget that some people don’t have one. It really amazes me that God protects people, even if they don’t have a home, and that’s the amazing part. Some even say their home is right where they are! Like, for example, some people live in the wild, and God protects them! Homes are really important. They give off shade, shelter, and you can live in it. Some homes are big, small, dirty, clean, tall, short, colourful, colourless, but I like my home just as it is!
