The Meaning of Home

Home is not just a place you live. It’s a place you can be yourself and let your emotions out. Home is a place where you all sit together and laugh and talk together. Share things about your day while you smell moms homecooked meals filling the air. It’s where you feel safe and loved while I snuggle my dog and cats while you sit next to the fire-place. Home is where you watch a movie with your friends and family. Home is also where you don't have to worry about being judged. You can be yourself. I love my family because they are very nice to me every day. Home is where I can be myself and play with my brother while my dad is helping my mom make dinner, while my dog barks at the window when there's nobody there, and my cats are peacefully sleeping. Home is where I sleep in my bed and feel comfy while I snuggle my dog and feel safe. I love my pets and family when they hug me. Home is where you can be who you want to be. I’m happy I live in a safe, beautiful country and home. I am so grateful I can do all of those things at my home and everywhere else. Home is where my neighbors say hi to me. Home is where you can play in your backyard. Home is where I go around the block with my dad. I love my home because I can ride my bike with my brother around the block. Home is a place where I visit my big brother, home is a place where everyday I can wake up and go to school. I’m so happy that I can have and play with my friends and family. I love my home!
