What home means to me

When I leave for school, my cats say goodbye, purring, and cuddling I say goodbye and leave for school. As the snow comes down, I see the birds fly by, there getting ready for winter. When I come back from school, my house is warm, and I feel welcome. I smell food getting ready on the stove, my mom tells me and my brother to go play outside. When I'm outside we play out in the snow, building snow forts, snow castles and even more. When I go back inside dinner is ready to go to the table, we all help till everything is there. When I'm feeling down, I go to my cats they always do something funny. When it’s time for bed, my cats and I always read. Let me tell you something... home is more than you think it's where memories are made and sometimes it’s not perfect, but home is my safe place.
