The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home to me, is where I feel safe to be the real me and enjoy the things I like doing when there is no rush. Home is my calm space. I like how, whenever I want, I can go to my room and watch my device and play games. Nothing can be better than when I can walk to my kitchen, sit at the table and eat with my family. I love when I can go into the living room to watch tv and laugh with family and friends. Home is where I took my first steps and learned how to talk. I have so many good memories at my home. My home is so cozy and warm. I love when I come inside on a cold day and the house is so warm. I don't like when I turn on the news and there are so many people who do not have a safe place to live. I’d like to make cards to give to homeless people, so that every time they look at it, they will smile. I’d be so happy to make them happy as they have been through a lot. I'm so lucky to have a bed to sleep on, a pillow to lay my head on, and a blanket to cover up in when I’m cold. I can go in my backyard and not be worried about anything. I love my home. I love my mom, I love my dad and I even love my brother. I am so happy to have a safe home and I wish everyone could feel the same.
