What Home Means to Me

What home means to me is that I feel really safe. My mom taught me how to cook and how to wash dishes. My dad taught me how to play mini basketball. I taught my little brother how to colour. My brother makes me feel safe and happy when I'm having a bad day. He makes me feel good at home and I really like sleeping and playing on my Xbox so my room is my favourite place to calm myself down. I really like to colour, it's relaxing and when I'm really mad my mom calms me down. My mom cooks the best dinner. Her shrimp alfredo is really good and if I have something personal I can tell my mom and she helps me with my personal things. My home brings a lot of memories like when I was first born and when we first moved here. We have lived in my home for eight or nine years and we have so many memories together. I can express my feelings and be emotional if I'm holding it in. I feel loved and understood when I'm at home. I am accepted at home without judgement and can express my unique personality and interests. A place of unlimited happiness and unlimited comfiness. Me and my family like to do crafts. Sometimes my uncle comes and he helps me with my game in 2k25. Sometimes me and my family have fun and we like to laugh together. If I'm depressed I go to my mom. She helps me calm down and figure stuff out. My little brother and I mostly play in my room. We play with his popatrolls and dinkies. At night I play on my Xbox with my friends. That's the meaning of home.
