Home is my family!

What home means to me….. Home means different things to different people, but to me, home is the best place in the world. Home means the hugs I get when I come home from school. It’s delicious food I get when I am hungry, the smell brings joy down to my heart. It’s not a house that makes a home, it's the people inside of it, the people I can talk to, the people who help me out during rough times. It is where everyone cares about each other and no one feels left out. Home is where I’m motivated to grow in sports and helped to do well in school. Home is where I’m taught how to be a good person when I grow up, so I can help make the world a better place. Everyone deserves a home where they feel loved, cared and accepted. Home is the sound of the blender at 6:00 in the morning, the treadmill rumbling, and my sister’s Sol de Janeiro smell filling the room. Home is my grandma cooking, my grandpa vacuuming, and the smell of my mom baking. It’s my dad laughing, and my sister singing and dancing. It’s the sound of Lego bricks when my cousins come over, and the love from my Nana, Nani, Uncle, and Aunt. Home is full of noise, but the good kind. Home is where I feel safe, where there is nothing that can stop me from being myself. Home is the place where I can relax and let every worry go away. Home is where I am safe! Home is where I play! Home is the reminder that I am special! Home is my family!
