Everybody's Home Is Different

A home is a place where you live, where there’s food, shelter, water, and where you can be yourself, but my home is where there’s family, love, and safety. At my home my family is the best! My mom and my dad are like superheroes, my 2 sisters and my brother are the family helpers, my parrot is the chatty one, and I'm the loved and cared for one. My older sister is 13 years old, my middle sister is 10 years old, my middle brother is 11 years old, and I'm 9 years old. In my home safety is always first. So we have fire extinguishers all around my home and we also have security alarms so if you open the door the alarm will go and on the mini screen you will need to put in a password for the alarm to stop. These are the five senses that I think about in my home: I taste the yumminess of the food on the table I feel the love in my family I see my beautiful and clean home when I come home from school I smell the yummy food on the table for me and my family to eat I hear my family laughing in happiness Thank you Habitat for Humanity for putting this contest altogether!
