What home means to me.

Written by Mylo Thiessen. School, Morris. School Division, Red river valley. What home means to me. Home means warm, safe and cozy. It can even mean breakfast, lunch and dinner. At my house I am safe and warm like that cozy feeling in winter when you are wrapped up in a fuzzy blanket with a steaming glass of hot chocolate and a soft cat asleep on your lap while you read a good book. Home means safe because my parents are kind and caring, they listen and don’t shout. Home means warm because we have a heater but also because of the little things that happen that make me feel warm inside like when we have fettuccine alfredo my favorite dinner. Home means breakfast, lunch and dinner because I am fed at least 3 square meals each day, and it makes me feel sad to know that people can’t afford food in some countries. Home means clean because I can shower every morning and have a house that you need to clean. Some people don’t even have indoor plumbing or a house that they need to clean. It might sound nice to not need to clean a house but what I meant is they don’t have a house at all, and having a house is something I am most grateful for. That is home means to me thank you for reading my presentation.
