What Home Means to Me

Home is a place where you can feel safe and protected. Home is where I can feel out loud. At home I have lots of friends and family who support me.When I come home from school I'm grateful to have a home.A house is just roof, walls, floor, and other things,But a home has feelings. At home you can feel: happiness, joyful, comfortable, protected, and grateful. When I hear the word happiness I think of my pets. They make me feel happy because they are cute, cuddly, and playful. My pets also make me feel at home because they are there for me when I need to play with someone or cuddle someone. When I see my Mom I feel joyful and happy and grateful for a Mom. Sometimes on the weekends she takes us to our uncles or cousins and stays there for the week or weekend. They are family and family means I am at home.
