What does home mean to you?

My home is a place I can go if I ever feel scared or I wanna relax. Here's what my meaning of home is. I love the feeling when I walk up the stairs when I come home from a friend's house. I can hear the dogs running to the door. When I open the door they jump on me and they can't wait to see me home. My so-called annoying brother walks into my room and asks me to play with him. I would always say no but it's way better to get off electronics. The countless times I started walking home and all I could smell is dads home cooked barbequed steak and it filled the air. I swear I could smell it from a mile away. My so-called home is now just a house with different faces walking in and out. I tend to realize it was never a house, it was a home, a home that is filled with countless memories where it replays in my mind every time I look at what I called my home. I wait by the door waiting for my brother to come home from school. The first thing I asked him was “do you wanna play mini sticks” eyes brighten and smiles on our faces. We play till ten and the winner has bragging rights. In the living room you try to block off the dogs but they end up making their way in. We know it's a good Saturday when we wake up at 5:30 to get ready for hockey practice altho I dont wanna get out of my comfy bed. Mom makes me the best pregame meal before my Saturday games. I have so many countless memories at home and I can't imagine life without it.
