What home means to me

To me, home means a place where I can feel safe and comfortable, a place where I am not judged and can do whatever I like. A home doesn't have to be a house, a beavers home is in a lodge, a bird's home is in the trees, and a groundhogs home is in a borrow. And our home just so happened to be a house. My home is different from a house because I have so many memories in it, I know every hiding place, and every scratch on the walls. I know the sound of the stairs when I walk up them and I know the feel of my couch when I sit on it. The point is that my home is different from a house because I live in it and I know everything about it, and I have tons of memories in it. And I think that everyone deserves to have a place to call home, and I hope that these words help to put a roof over their head.
