Home
Home to many people is a place that constantly is changing. To some people it is a structure. For me home is a place where I feel safe, not because I have four walls, a roof and a door that locks, but because I have a loving family that supports me, houses me and feeds me. My country where I was born, India is 11,000 kilometers away. I still keep it in my heart.
In my country India, Habitat for Humanity has helped upwards of 622,000 people build or improve their homes since their start of operations in India in 1983. In total Habitat for Humanity has helped over sixty-three million families all around the globe. I am only one of the very fortunate people who have the privilege to live in an amazing country that is peaceful and cold, very cold. In spite of the cold, I am lucky to live in Canada.
