My Home

Home is not just a building, it is the friends and family you share it with. I am originally from South Africa. When I moved here when I was four years old I could not remember much. But I do remember my home was lovely. And when I moved I thought I lost my home but I realized that my family and friends made it a home, and an adventure. Home is where I can express my feelings. And hear my furry animals snore, see my brother play, smell my Mom's cooking and feel my soft blankets. Home is where you can wake to hear your neighbor plowing their yard. Home is where you can laugh and eat supper. Home is where you can spend your holidays safely inside. I love my home because it is where I come home from school and see my fluffy pets and give them a hug and hello. Then I jump on my bed and dive into a book. My house makes me feel safe. Home is also where I can look at my puppy posters on my bedroom walls. I think that everyone should know the difference between a house and a home. All homes are different but they all should have love and care in them.
