What does home mean to me?
Home is not just a place to live; it is a place of comfort, safety, and love. It is where I talk with my friends and family, sleep, relax, and feel protected. Whenever it rains or there is a storm, my home provides shelter and keeps us safe.
I live with my family in my home. My family includes my mom, my dad, my brother, and myself. We live together and support one another. My dad helps me with my studies, my mom cooks delicious food, my brother studies, and I study as well. We share our daily lives together at home.
My home has many important things such as a couch, a fan, a bed, clothes, my school bag, and other necessities. The place I like most in my home is my bed. From my window, I can see the downtown cityscape. Since I live on the 22nd floor, I can enjoy a beautiful view of city life from above. During winter, I can watch snow falling from my window and balcony, which makes the view very peaceful.
We always eat meals together as a family. On special occasions, my mom cooks delicious food for all of us. Our home is full of warmth and happiness.
We also have a pair of pigeons that stay on our balcony. I feed them every day. During winter, pigeons face many difficulties because they do not have proper shelter. So my mom and I made a nest for them using cardboard. Now they have a safe place to stay. This made me realize how important a home is for everyone. In cold winter temperatures and during rainy seasons, the nest protects the pigeons, just like our home protects us.
In winter, we need hot water and heating in our rooms to stay comfortable. My home has all the facilities we need. Staying outside in winter without a home can be life-threatening. That is why I believe home is very important for everyone.
