What Home Means To Me

Home is not just a place to sleep. It's where I feel safe and loved. When my mom is cooking lasagna for dinner we all go to the dinner table. We tell jokes and talk about our favourite moments. That's when I feel most connected to my family. When I went away from my home and my family for 3 weeks to Spain, I missed my home so much and family because that’s where my heart lives. The people in your home make a home. Like when my Mom helps me with my homework every time I ask her. Me, my brother and my dad play soccer outside. On the weekend we laugh and have fun, but I am way faster than both of them and those little games are moments I will never forget. That’s also when I feel connected with my family. I am so thankful for my school for supporting Habitat for Humanity. I am also thankful for Habitat for Humanity building homes for homeless people because these days it’s very cold. Thank you again Habitat for Humanity.
