What home means to me

Home is not just a place made of bricks.Home is where my heart feels calm and happy. My home has a back yard with a garden where flowers grow quietly and a front yard with a lush green lawn that feels like nature is smiling at us. My home is special because of my family. My mom is from Eastern Europe while my dad is from South Asia. And I was born in the Middle East where I lived among various languages, cultures and traditions. After seeing the world I realized that the world is big but love feels the same everywhere. My parents are the true meaning of home for me.Their love makes me feel safe wherever I go. I share my home with my younger brother Yusuf,Noor and my little sister Mehru.Without my parents and siblings my home would feel incomplete. When I moved to Canada I found peace and happiness.Canada became the place where my heart chose to stay and I belong here now.I can proudly say that Canada feels like home filled with kindness and harmony and is the true meaning for habitat for humanity.
