What Would I Do Without my Home?

I love my house but I feel like something is missing from it. It makes me warm on the outside, but what about the inside? It makes me comfortable physically, but what about mentally? That is why I need my home. My home is not a house, it’s much, much more. My Kitchen is where I talk about my day, where I am heard, and understood. My family and I take turns listening, and sharing stories. I can smell the aroma of great cooking and I wonder ‘What would I do without my home?’ In the living room me and my family play games, have conversations, and watch our favourite shows. We have great memories there and have so much fun. It is during all this that I am reminded of how blessed I am to have my amazing family. What would I do without my home? In my bedroom is my warm, cozy bed where I can rest when I am tired. I draw and I read and I am filled with joy because I love my bedroom. What would I do without my home? You see, without my home, I wouldn’t be able to be heard and understood in my kitchen, I wouldn’t be able to have great times with my family in the living room, and I wouldn’t be able to have a safe, cozy, bedroom to sleep in. What would I do without my home?
