It’s not the house, it’s the people in it
Home is a place where there is overflowing, unconditional love and comfort. When it’s cold and gloomy, my home shields my family and I like a big blanket. Nothing beats sipping rich, hot cocoa while watching the snow fall to the ground.
It makes me feel warm and cozy inside when my family and I play games in the games room while the snow turns my backyard into a white winter wonderland.
When it’s time for bed it feels like my bed is giving me a big hug, as it’s saying goodnight. My canopy wraps around my bed like a comfy shield that protects me from the outside world. Each and every one of my stuffies are all my little fluffy friends, they each have a different story.
All the pictures on the walls are a memory on display, sometimes I like to pretend I am in one of the pictures. All the artwork in my house was made with detail and skill, for everyone to enjoy. The table cloths are like dresses for the tables, even tables have style. The chandelier is like a tree of light that brightens the whole room.
The living room is where we share long-lasting memories, just by being in the living room. The study is where masterpieces are created and homework is done. The games room is where laughter and fun are shared, and where games are played. The back yard is where my siblings and I play until we get really tired . A home means so much to you, but you don't realise that until you lose it. Thank you habitat for humanity for continuing to change lives.
