I am from a brown, two-story place, by Waters Edge, a peaceful space, next to the Red River flowing slow, watching winter’s soft white snow. I am from warm movies, cold nights, family laughter, cozy lights, from voices planning every day, and chicken smells that make me stay. I am from the yard where I play, laughing, running, every day. From moving in and feeling new, from memories made and true. I am from my dad’s helpful hands, fixing my Nerf just as he plans, from Bible meetings, faith, and prayer, sharing our weeks and showing care. I am from a home of love and cheer, Christian values held so dear, a place to learn, believe, and grow, a place where God’s light starts to show. Home’s not just walls or where I stay, It’s love I feel in every way, where I sleep, laugh, and truly be, Home is where I’m fully me.
