Home is a special place

My home is special because it’s a safe place, and I can have time to myself and be alone. I have this big, fluffy chair in my room that I like to read and play games on. I have a desk that I sketch and do art on. I have a big sister and a little brother who keep me company every day. I also have this puppy that’s one year old, and he is still learning. I have this big room that I put all my toys in. There is this big, fluffy, gigantic pillow that’s grey. I have this tiny electric piano that can play music on its own. I have this big living room that has a T.V. and shelves of books crowding it. My dog has his own home, a dog house, so when we leave, he goes in it. Home is like a building that floats in my heart. Home is a safe place, and it gives me hope. Sometimes I go there to be alone and calm myself down. My family is like four books all around me and I’m reading chapters about them as they tell me stories. My family gives me hope. I also love my dog. When we throw something, he goes and gets it, but he never brings it back. I love my home, it makes me feel happy and safe. I love making memories with my family and everything I have. Home isn’t just a building, it’s a place that makes me feel safe. I have everything that I need in my home and nothing else. I have traveled from my home to the border of Canada to the top of the world and back. My family only takes what we need and leaves the rest for planet Earth and everybody else who needs it. I love my home, it's like my heartbeat, and that’s why my home is special.
