My home is a safe place

My home is friendly and welcoming. In my livingroom there are books, a couch, a table and a fireplace. In my room there is a bed, a dresser and a desk. I sleep, eat and play at home. In my home, the fireplace makes me feel safe and warm. I have dance parties in my room with my sister and my friends. Sometimes I roll up in my rug like a burrito. When I’m feeling sad and lonely, there’s a small corner with pillows and books to read. When I’m feeling left out because my sister won’t let me play, me and my mum bake cookies. I love how we make funny jokes and games! My home is like an umbrella that saves me and my family from the rain. My home is special to me. So, thank you habitat for humanity for helping build and raise money for the people who don’t have a home.
