What does home mean to me
My home has my family, like my sister. In my home, I have food and water, and my bed in my room. I also have a living room, a playroom, and a downstairs. Downstairs, I love to play with my sister. In the summer, late spring, and early fall, I like to play outside. In the living room, we like to watch tv together. I share my room with my sister. In our room, we like to play together, and we sometimes make a fort. In the kitchen, we have a refrigerator and a cabinet that hold our food. At dinnertime, we like to eat together and share stories around the table. At Christmas time, all of the people in my family come to my grandparents’ house for a family dinner. I love my family, and they are all so nice. In my home, I feel safe and warm. When it’s snowing or raining, and it’s cold outside, I like to keep warm under a soft blanket with my family. Sometimes we make a fire and roast marshmallows together. In summer, I like going camping with my family. I like playing with my sister named Sophie, we like making forts, and in the summer, we play in the sprinklers when it’s warm outside. In the morning, I have breakfast, for breakfast I sometimes have waffles that my mom makes. Home is not just a building, it’s a place with family. In my home, I feel warm, cozy, and happy. I love my family. Having a family and a home makes me feel loved and safe.
