A HOME IS NOT JUST 4 WALLS

A home is not just 4 walls because it feels like there is a barrier that protects me from any harm. More importantly, love makes a home. Everyday when I come home from school I get a big, cozy, bear hug from my mom which makes me feel warm and welcomed. My kitchen has a delightful smell. On one side I smell fresh pizza and on the other side I smell cookies. In the kitchen I help mom make food and bake cookies. In the living room is where I see pictures of all my cherished memories, like when I was 4 and I visited Niagara Falls. We also play board games together like Connect 4, Wordle and watch movies. When I go to bed, I grab my Build A Bear. I hug it tight because it was made from love and keeps me company and makes me have great dreams. One of my favourites was when I went to a waterpark and I went down the tallest slide and landed with a giant splash. On the coldest nights my big blanket keeps me warm like a shield that protects me from the cold. I'm also fortunate enough to have a lot of toys and clothes which are all for me. I moved from home to home but every time I get upset. When I am leaving one house to move to another home I feel sad and miss my other home because of all the fun times at my other home. But the new home still makes good memories. This is why home is not just 4 walls, and I hope everyone can have one.
