The Meaning of Home

When I think of home, I think of a loving place with lots of memories. When I am in my home I feel loved, comfortable, safe, and happy. I feel happy to have a home with a caring family and a bed to sleep in. I feel comfortable with the habitat that I live in and the family I live with. I feel safe because I have a door that locks and parents that are willing to sacrifice themselves for me. When I honestly think of home, I think of my family and all the memories I have had as I have grown up in this home. When I think of all the people that do not have homes I feel grateful to have a safe roof over my head. In my home it is not just our biological family that lives there. There are other people on one side of the house, my dad owns a business which involves them living in our home. Our side and their side is completely separate so there is lots of privacy for us and them. Something about my home is, I just love the layout. Our upstairs has three bedrooms, one for all of us and one bathroom, which is busy because if we are all trying to get ready for an event it's a little chaotic. Another part that I love about our home is that our living room is connected to our kitchen which I just think looks good. A home gives us opportunities to learn, grow, and be safe.
