Home

My meaning of a home is being in a safe and loving place no matter where we are. In an apartment, a small house, a big house. No matter, it is still a home to someone. My home is full of animals, and family who love me. Some people in my life do not have that so I make my home theirs too, and my family always welcomes them with open arms. I am a very anxious person who hates too quiet or too loud and music always helps, and my home always has that to offer. A home is somewhere where your memories are placed on the wall in little or big photos, embarrassing or not. My favorite thing is lying in bed and watching TV late at night cats curled up. The thing that makes me feel safe is the doors being locked with care, the home being quiet but with my fan running with the TV on with quiet music. My home is my favorite thing to come to after something. Like school, a friend’s home, the park, the store. My home is welcome to all people I know. My home or not it’s always someone’s home, so I’m aware I should be on my best behavior, and I try my best to be quiet and not talk to loud, because I know I would hate it if my little brother brought his friends over and talked really loud. Quiet or not my home is my favorite place to be no matter what is happening. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity for hosting this event and thank you for helping hundreds or thousands of people.
