Home is more than just a shelter

Home is not just 4 walls and a roof over my head, it's my safe place. It has food, water, toys, books and more. My favourite thing about my house that makes me feel safe are the people in it. They comfort me when I am sad, they are proud of me for who I am, and they always support me when something is wrong, or if I am unhappy. My mom cooks delicious meals, and my dad cooks the best steak I have ever had. I love to bake sweet treats with my mom, such as cookies, cupcakes, and more. When the cookies come out of the oven, they smell so good and they are delicious and gooey. We all gather around the table and eat all the pastries my family and I baked. My home is more than just four walls, my home holds memories that I will always remember. When I am upset my home is the most comforting place where I can be myself. My family is loving, kind, supportive and more. My family is so loving no matter what I do. My room is like a warm blanket wrapped around me. I have a, very comfortable bed, pillows, a blanket, a lot of clothing and more. My room is warm and cozy I have pictures of my family hanging in my room, those pictures make me feel safe. Lastly, my living room is so nice. My family and I watch tv and play board games. My brothers and I always watch movies, sometimes we stay up really late on Friday night, and we eat lots of popcorn, candies and play board games.
