Home isn’t just a place with walls and a roof, it’s a place full of happiness,laughter, and family. You might have lived in your house for your whole life, or you’re just moving there.Home holds memories and emotions that make it special, whether it is sad,angry, surprised or happy ones. When you are in your home you have this wonderful feeling of belonging, safety, and you feel comfortable. Imagine yourself in an empty house, nobody’s there, just you and the loud silence, no sounds of laughter. It’s not the same place, even though a house and home are both buildings with walls and a roof. When you are in a friend’s home you smell the scent of their home, it’s unlike your home’s smell, it’s not the same, it’s different.Home keeps us warm in the winter, and cold in the summer.You have probably celebrated a birthday in your home with family and friends, it’s a special feeling to become older and wiser. When you get older, you will probably move out of that childhood home. It feels so nice to be back and experience all those childhood memories. When you get older life gets harder, so when you experience memories from your childhood, it makes you feel happy, safe, warm, like wrapped in a cozy hug from your parents. A home counts on what’s inside, not if it looks good on the outside.You know the saying “never judge a book by its cover”, just like a home. Homes are special to you and your family because every home has a different culture, religions and cooking styles. No two snowflakes are the same, just like how no two homes are the same.
