A Special Place

House versus a home. Have you ever thought about the difference? A house is a place that gives you shelter and so does a home,but it's what’s inside that makes a home different from a house. Not a lot of people realize the difference between the two. You would feel very safe in both because there is a roof over your head, but the memories that you make with family and friends within your home is what matters the most. Sounds of laughter fill the room at the dinner table, cheering on the New York Yankees getting loud and excited when Aaron Judge hits a homerun to win the game! The smell of delicious cookies, freshly baked apple pie, homemade pizza, pasta and lots of other good meals are all the amazing scents that fill the air in my home! I always know when my dad is home because I smell the fresh coffee beans when he makes an espresso for himself. My bedroom is the coziest place to me. My olive green and creamy white walls make my bedroom feel so relaxing. I love to sit by the fire, sipping on hot chocolate and watching my favourite movie, The Grinch while cuddling up with my family. I am grateful to have a place to call my home. A place that makes me feel happy, loved and comfortable. I love my home!
