Home

A home is different from a house. A house has four walls, furniture, a door and a roof. A home to me is when you walk in and the smell of a gingerbread candle hits your nose. As you look around all you see is love and happiness. The sound of laughter fills the air. Then you walk into the living room. The place where the family gathers to play board games and watch movies. You look out the window as the lights on it make it hard to see outside. The beautiful Christmas lights dance on the tree. I love watching the colorful lights on my tree. You enter the kitchen and the smell of homemade food goes into your nose. This is what home means to me.
