What Home Means to Me

Home is where I feel safe with my family and where I can be myself. If I ever feel angry or sad I can go to my bedroom, my crawlspace or my fireplace for some alone time. Things that make it feel like home are the people around me and my pets. The smell of my grandpa's Barbecue hot dogs, hamburgers and family movie nights make me feel happy. I am grateful for the clean water I have to drink.I am also grateful for the warm food I have to eat. I am grateful that my dog is still alive because she is 84 in human years and she is 17 in dog years but she might pass away this March because she has a giant tumor on the side of her stomach, but the medicine the doctor is giving her is not working. I love playing on my trampoline in the summer and playing soccer. I love watching the hockey games with my mom, dad, grandma and grandpa. My home is important to me because that is where I grew up and made memories.
