What Home Means To Me

To me, home is a warm blanket hugging me tight. The smell of home-cooked meals always delights me. There are always dog toys scattered everywhere when I look for my dog, but he’s usually on the couch. Waking up to the sun beaming into my room and my brother getting ready for school. I walk downstairs, barely awake, seeing my family, making breakfast, and going to school. It feels like a cycle. My dog always goes crazy after he comes back in from outside, and he runs in circles around the living room. When I come home from school, my mom gives me a warm welcome, and I’ll tell her all about my day.
