What Home Means To Me

Home is not just a house; it’s a place where I feel safe and loved. It’s a place where you laugh and scream—a place where you are comfortable and warm, with the smell of food and air freshener filling the house. It’s a place that holds tons of memories and accidents. It’s the touch of love you feel when you walk through the door, and the taste of delicious pizza, rice, and chicken. Home is not just a house; it’s a person. Sometimes, it’s a memory. Home is a place where I feel like I belong, where the wind blows in through the window and the heat warms me up. It’s the shoes lined up by the door during a family gathering. It’s the place where we play cards and struggle through the day when the power goes out and we all get cozy in our blankets and pajamas. We tell stories and laugh together. It’s the way I come home exhausted from school—and that’s why my home is special to me.
