Meaning of Home

Home is a friend. A good friend that protects us and makes us feel safe. It's not how nice the furniture is or how big it is. It is who is in it and the memories we make in it. Not just a home, it is our friend. Like when me and my dad play cards and my moms goulash smell flows across the kitchen. I hear the birds chirping and the blue birds singing. Home is my only home, a special home. Home is not a place, it is a barrier to protect you. When my family comes over, we sit on the couch and watch a movie. Together we laugh, we cry and feel wonder. As I touch the couch I feel the soft sofa. It is like I am getting a big warm hug. My mom pays the bills and for food. She does so much for me. Home is amazing and warm. 50% of my time I am in my room, the other 50% I am with my family. Home is my friend, the bestest friend ever. It is amazing and I also see a big brother willing too protect me. My home is as safe as a school. To me home is a greater story than others. On my birthday, my family comes over and I have so much fun. And sometimes the emotions are different and that is what home means to me.
