What Home Means to Me

My home means a lot, but a home is not finished without family. My home is my safe place when I come home from vacation, I feel safe because there are walls and a roof to protect me and my family. I like to be at home, and all the scary things can’t get me. My home is filled music and sounds, and those sounds are memories to me. The sounds are like my family laughing and watching tv together and sometimes it sounds like drums and guitars. My home smells like mom’s cooking, and my house is full of yummy foods like homemade pizza, bread and cake. When I come home from places it always smells like home. I like Habitat for Humanity because they give people the opportunity to help make a home.
