Home Sweet Home

A home is not just a place that you stay in. A home is a place where you belong, feel safe and loved. My family makes me feel all of those things. Everyone belongs in my family. My sister Dylan always includes me in games and activities. My mom makes me feel loved, heard and appreciated. She always listens to my stories and problems. My dad makes me laugh, smile and feel loved. We play lots of games together. My pets make me feel calm, excited and loved. They make me smile on bad days and are really cute. I can always be myself with my family. My family is a big part of my home. My house looks big, it has three stories. In the basement we like to play on our swing and it is fun to create things for our secret hideout in the basement. The main floor is where our family spends most of our time. We play board games, eat healthy delicious meals and watch shows on our comfy couch in our living room. You can often hear us laughing and joking around. My bedroom is upstairs and is a place where I feel calm, comfortable and relaxed. It is full of memories and my accomplishments. The memories and moments in my house are what makes my house a home.
